Dick Harvey, the second generation of Harvey’s Stores, passed away on April 26, 2011.

He was 87 years young.

Five weeks before his passing, Dick was doing what he liked the most; sitting behind his desk at Harvey’s planning the store deliveries for the day.

Cancer may have taken Dick’s life, but he went on his own terms. Dick was a fighter, a realist and full of spirit. He enjoyed his life and admired the community and neighbourhood where he grew up and ran his business.

Harvey’s Stores is proud to be supporting the “One Epic Journey“ Team on their journey and quest to fight and help find a cure for this terrible disease.
